granny, you think it might just be something with the fancy breeds?

other people breed them. They are not cheap though. Never really thought of that.. maybe they are so inbred Its hard to get a good one ?

well, Good news is (knock on wood) the 2 hens I got are doing great. Its been so long I probably wont be able to reintroduce him back to the flock with the other roo in there.
