I know. I set that price back before Christmas when the market was slow and I was desperate to thin the flock. I don't feel it's right to jump the price now. I know one for sure is laying, not sure on the others. If he gets the brahma then that's a real steal.

granny, that is terrible prices.

I've heard of folks around here, selling organic yard eggs, from $3 per dozen, to $8 per dozen.

birds go from $5 to $20 depending on age.

I know! I'm going to have to take an anxiety pill to sell the honas for their going rate.

$1.50-$2.50 at the highest. normal is 2. for eggs.

and they run pretty much the same price for full breed normal birds, or mixed birds.

now rare breeds are a whole nutter thang!!

I just don't like to see people parting with their hard earned money. Makes me feel guilty. I think it's a self-confidence thing.

You get hatching eggs for $2? Mixed breed? I checked Beaumont CL the other day but didn't see anything I liked.

I sold my eating eggs for $5 a dozen yesterday, but those were to friends who love the camp and are willing to support it.
