He's very well thanks Tippy :D
Not ridden him for a bit but he's not fussed and even if he has a few weeks off hes generally good when I get back on. He's looking a bit porky right now so some exercise will do him good and me too :hide

He had a new set of shoes on last Monday so when the weather is good I'm going to tackle him!!

Granny thinks her chicks are dead in shell. One does have a pip but not making progress. Others may have internals.

Don't know about Bert he does not post on a weekend only week days.

What type / breed is he?

Thoroughbred he was a race horse in his younger years. Not a good one I hasten to add!! Never even got a place in a race.

@Sally Sunshine I have the one chick that I piped. thats it. The other one I dropped the cord on tried to hatch today, it didnt make it. It had about a small marble sized yolk left that looked a bit more like intestines then yolk. I candled a few last night and they looked dead, a few today, Looks dead. I suspect the whole batch is dead and I am stuck with one chick. I enlarged the air holes today in hopes there may be one alive and its not too late but its not looking promising .
