if they were already internally pipped, were they dead after some time, or dead on internally pipping??? dead on internally pip would have been drown. but if they pipped and then didnt external pip they had issues other than that.

morning, I feel like poop . so stuffy and into my chest. woke up choking wheezing couldnt draw a breath. I havent had a cold in yrs. oh well. so one pip and thats the one I hit with the electric plug. I did candle a few and they all look dead to me. day 20 . If these are the only 2 that I get and they are the 2 that I pipped what does that say ? I dont have enough ventilation or humidity wasnt high enough ? according to air cells it was a bit too high. guess we will see in a couple more days . this doesnt surprise me . If I only have 1-2 chicks that is going to be a PITA . I did worry about the air holes I made.

Hope you don't have an infection from inhaling all that poopy dust. Coughing up green stuff yet? Might need antibiotics.

Bummer about the eggs. Does sound like it might be a lack of air, since they developed so far along.

Hope you get a surprise hatch in the next couple of days, to keep that single one company. Maybe GS will keep him occupied.

morning, I hope you dont get blown away ! you know I am geographically challenged , watching the news this am the west coast is to get a snow storm instead of east now. I have no idea what that means but its gonna be a doozy !

The wind is supposed to shift and blow cold down from Alaska. Washington, Oregon, and CA all get snow in winter, just not usually within 50 miles of the ocean. Lots of skiing here up in the mountains, Sierra Neveda. Look up the Donner Party. Settlers in a wagon train from the east got bad info and stranded in the Sierra during winter snow. Only half of the 85+ people survived. Because they ate the others that died first.

We go over Donner Pass anytime we head up to Tahoe or the snow, about 5 hour drive.

Well I am supposedly signed up for Obamacare. monthly cost 508.53

Now to see if Sanford Health care drops the ball again or not. Only 100.00 a month more then last year. So 25% inflation in a year.

NOTE should my possible penalities be less then 500 a month guess what I am doing.

I feel your pain. Try adding the cost of 2 kids as well. Hubs gets his through work, but the boys and I are separate. Hope no one gets sick because we can't afford it after paying the premiums.

Twist, why are you working so hard ? Why did you buy yaks ? are you going to take them with you when you go ? wouldnt it give you piece to know you have a son to leave them to ? and a child off the street ? I know better then what you say about feeding a kid. think about it Your SON.  OCD isnt shiit . so what. 50 yrs ago you would of been called eccentric.  Big deal. 

Try being a Singe white male in his 50's that smokes and adopt a younger boy.   Are you kidding  no way will I get even a foot in the door. 

You won't know unless you try Twist, older kids are so hard for agencies to get placed that you might be surprised.

I agree with this, and you could pick a child that has similar interests, hobbies, religion. Older kids get stuck in the foster system and many get booted out on their own at 18. It's a tough start for them. Don't do it unless you are called to, because it will change your life. Good and bad.
