Wow y'all must have plenty of chicken now. How much do you think it saves per year?

Times two on the question... They are 5 bucks a chick here then you have to feed them.. So didn't make sense to me.
You don't really save money, they are like having chickens for eggs. You do it because they taste better than the store bought birds & you know how they're living before you eat them.

x2. No ammonia on your meat. And you know they were in grass and sunshine.

had a bantam cornish once wide breast, friendly thing. I was very sad when I found out what it was because I thought it would die soon. It just kept doing its thing and I kept waiting . LOL

they are like a dollar each from Schledt hatchery (SP)

Purely poultry has good deals too
Have you ever figured how much one would eat in its life to see how much it cost you? I may raise a few if it save money. Just trying to see if it's worth it.

It's "life" is like two months.

that's definitely a good reason to do your on. No telling what the ones in the stores have been in and Fed. Does it cost more or can you at least break even. This is something I'd do if I can break even.

They will eat every minute of every day if you let them. Their hearts literally explode if food isn't regulated. Plus their legs break.
that's amazing. I never knew any of this.
