SQUEEE !!!!!! I got my first ever polish egg today

There is no such thing as ample chickens . hhaahaa
I took the roo out today streched his legs and put him in the grass for a while. He has been all this time in the barn with the cats. He ate some grass, stumbled and fell a few times and after he got tired he lay down and here comes Binks the coon killer and lays next to him touching as they took a short nap together. I only have about 4-5 hens .

My sister's brother in law hunts grouse every year for the holidays around their property. They love it. I have never had it.

me too they ane not great layers if I am remembering right they lay every other day and I have that extra roo in there I said I needed to get rid off so it may not even be all polish if it was fertile .
