This was at a huge state park. Snakes, coyotes, wildcats are all up there, so hikers beware! There is also an observatory with several large telescopes. We sometimes volunteer on public viewing nights when all the campers walk over to take a look at the cosmos. It's beautiful in the spring. May take a trip up there this weekend. Google the images for Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. You can see what it's like around here!

We would have rattlers in our back yard if we didn't lovely king snakes to eat them! No snakes around here need killing, there's nothing deadly. Hurtful, but not deadly.

King snake (dk brown with white stripes) is eating a mouse. Yay! Mouse is already dead. I heard its squeaky scream.
