.22 as twist said is nice and easy with hardly any kick. Other half has one for shooting rabbits but it can easily take a dog down. .22 is a bit smaller and you should be able to handle it ok.

Hope you get those dogs!!

.22 is also a little quieter and the neighbors might not call the cops.

That's very true wishing! I can cope with .22 without sticking my fingers in my ears!! The .223 he had was just awful, you could feel that bang go through you!!
He's got a .204 now with moderator that takes some of the loudness off. It's his new baby :love

When I was a kid, I used to plink around with a .22 single shot rifle. Target out in the orchard into a steep wooded hill. Got to be pretty good shot. These days, you'd have the law show up!

We have some pretty tough laws when it comes to guns over here. Especially to have a rifle. The only thing you can have without a licence or certificate is an air pistol. For everything else they come round your house and snoop do loads of checks on you and check out where you will be shooting. You even have to get the land owners written permission so the police can check that out too. In our county they don't have a dedicated shooting section for firearms licensing so it's a shambles really. Now the government wants to tighten the laws even more.

Morning y'all. Honas hatched all night, I have two with yellow faces and pink feet, and one that looks a little better.

Three green eggs left; I candled two and I think they shrink wrapped. Or just DIS. It looks like they pipped internally and didn't make it any farther. I didn't look at the third one.

Two honas left, one with a pip that got rolled upside down in the night. I'm not holding much hope for them.

So 11 chicks total! Not bad for the Neglected Hatch.

Guess what ????

Wal~Mart sells incubators on Walmart.com!!!!!!

Just my luck.......
