I can't wait to see how this hatch works out for you!!! I'm hoping for the best!

this is what I have wanted all along. I bought the wire yesterday to make a basket big enough to hold all the eggs in a turner on one shelf. So after I get it made I might switch to hand rolling them.

I am getting sick again I think. Very tired but otherwise not so bad yet

BLECH - sorry to hear that!
Could someone help me out on a chicken house design for 300 birds? Both meat and layers? A simple and affordable design please.
Welcome - to BYC and the thread. You'll likely get better feedback by starting your own thread in
the coop design area if you haven't already https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/9/coop-run-design-construction-maintenance --- though for a quick answer I would suggest that at that number of birds you're best bet is a pole barn approach - and if by meat and layers you are meaning actual meat birds vs, dual purpose birds I would section the building so that you are able to raise both types appropriately.

Oh man. Two anniversaries.so he's the cheap one? I'd love to see what he gives her on their anniversaries.

DH and I have two anniversaries. We had an "on paper" ceremony because we needed to get DD and I on a surprise set of orders so that we would be able to move with him - then we had the "real" wedding a couple of months later (about two weeks before we moved). We're lucky if we remember one of them every year, let alone both, lol.

dogs when you are done using them for breeding if that is in the plan other wise neuter at about 2 yrs old. House cats asap especially tom's before they start to "spray"

Yep - and for female housecats I aim for before I have to live through their first heat cycle because no one wants to live with that!
I really have no problem doing it. It's just more of doing it for pure reasons... May not make any sense. I can't put her down because she is peeing and making me upset. It has to be because she is in pain and suffering. Does that make sense? Or only to me?
I get that - my Huggy that we put down last year was a hot mess for months before we finally had to make the call. He was still enjoying life, but he had started peeing everywhere and was getting senile/confused so he had started doing a LOT of "talking" -- neither of those were reasons I was comfortable with using to make the decision, but once he started to not enjoy his life, that was when it was time.

Thanks Camping, I wasnt crazy with the mixed chicks. Im picky I guess.  Pretty good price on the babies.  eggs too .

Morning Linda, we would of been in good company yesterday for I was a witch with a capital B all/most the day.  No idea why.

I just like the jubilee coloration. I thought my speckled Sussexes were jubilee orps when I bought them.
