Has started raining. Spent most pf day uesterday in the garden. Got it turned, harrowed & tried to lay off the rows but chickweed & clover made that impossible. Will have to be harrowed again before laying off rows.

Papa, My redbud is as big around as my pinky finger and has been planted for 10 yrs. Was around 3ft. when I planted it and might be 5 ft. now.

I would guess that tree was there way before your mom was.
