I have no problem culling mean roosters, sick or hurting chickens and chicks . I just cant . as of right now they are healthy babies.

Maybe they do have a different purpose . Maybe I was meant to advocate for these guys.

I get that sort of but you did buy them with the intent of eating them. and the breed has a definite USE BY DATE and if you truly want to be an advocate DO NOT buy store chicken, cooked or raw OR order it at a restaurant.

wishing, you had to take him to a vet to be put down and I am guessing you didnt bring him home and fry him up so you know how hard this is. How can I do something that you cant ? I am no stronger then any other.

I am an advocate of Fried Chicken.

I KNOW it kind of rough with these guys. Not knowing what to expect.

Then you get em and they are SO gentle. Sweet birds actually.

But they have a short destiny. Bless you for trying to give them a better life.

I gave thanks to the Lord for each one of these birds from the coop to the slaughter to the cleanin.

And again at the table. Like I said I wont get em again. I will get a different bird.

They DO come from BIG AG. And i choose to no longer support that in the ways Im able to.
