For your earlier question Linda, yes I am overrun in chicks. Sales were going really well & then poof they dried up. Just found out last week when I went in for feed to TSC that they were doing chicks a second time this year. Never seen them do one in April before.

Wish I would have known. I do have some that I'm keeping, but I have a bunch that need to sell too.

Butttt they aren't special Lisa baby's.....

They are special, but just mixes. I have too many Swedish Flower, CCL & Biele's that I need housing for to keep all the rest. Hubs would need to build a couple more coops & that isn't happening

Did I tell you I have a good home for my hens.. But little Jerry is gonna be stew. He was mean any ways... I just have to tell myself he went to a happy farm in the sky.

I added the last two eggs from the bator and checked on the biele with the bloody pip. It's alive. I peeled some of the dry membrane, but I'm going to have to keep watching it. :/

Not sure I have seen a silver cochin. unless its silver laced ? dont look it.

My cochin is "splash" but she hardly has any spots. Not sure who the daddy is. Dark gray legs and small comb, so maybe the EE? Excited to see how the feathers come in.
