My cochin is "splash" but she hardly has any spots. Not sure who the daddy is. Dark gray legs and small comb, so maybe the EE? Excited to see how the feathers come in.

It's so pretty and shiny in person! It glows like a moonbeam. Blue/silver/lavender birds are my fav.

I was looking for a rare breed to replace the sussex, and I got a good deal. black is actually my least favorite chicken color...

Ohhhh I love them. I think they look magistic.

They're neat birds, for sure. But I still miss having the sussex. So I don't think the honas are a "forever" breed for me.

That is what I got my niece for starting out and her grandpa who owns the farm says they are the prettiest and most unique he has seen. I thought they were pretty too but I love black birds. My Minorca is my most favorite of all.

I cant even make my mind up about a color much less a breed. Think thats why I like the tolbunt. 3 colors.
