My cochin is "splash" but she hardly has any spots. Not sure who the daddy is. Dark gray legs and small comb, so maybe the EE? Excited to see how the feathers come in.

then why are you raising honas ?
I was looking for a rare breed to replace the sussex, and I got a good deal.black is actually my least favorite chicken color...

They're neat birds, for sure. But I still miss having the sussex. So I don't think the honas are a "forever" breed for me.
I wonder if there is such a thing as forever breed. Theres just too many..
