A drive by recipe! Hi MC. Now I am getting hungry...
That's a good question. I have seen mine peck at them, but never really go after ants. I'm sure they would eat the larvae, but you'd have to dig up the colony to give them access.
And you can boil a bunch at once and keep them in the fridge. It's just "fixing" eggs. I don't count it as cooking if I can do it without a recipe or having to buy special ingredients. Fixing I will do! Fix a sandwich, fix some eggs, fix some hot chocolate...
Hubs came out and told me he was making me eggs Benedict for M-day.Do you need milk? because the boys used it all, remember? Yes, a little.
Oh, well. It's the thought that counts.![]()
anyone have plans today ?

Thank you Wishing! I sell some eggs and give lots to family members, so I'm very careful about them. The other thing to consider is that ivermectin is commonly used to treat parasites in people. No testing has ever been done for poultry, but you never know if it might not somehow get concentrated in the fatty yolk of the egg or something like that. Still, if you compare doses for chicken vs human... a week is probably adequate. I won't sell or give eggs away for at least a month after medicating any birds, because you never know if someone will be allergic. You do have to repeat the treatment to catch the newly hatched mites. Forgot the timing already. Got to go look.
TwoCrows said these mites bear live young every 17 days, so that's your repeat window.

Yep pre planned!!hmm, I think the missing milk was pre-planned . LOL walking into the kitchen and bending over to get a pot and walking to the stove to turn it on. as soon as anything is added to that pot (even water) That is cooking. and what is eggs been-a-dic ?
Moo moo mooI am going to go "shopping" like I have said I was going to do all week. For me, that means looking at fun stuff I don't need and probably won't buy. Going to start at the fabric store. But it's fun to see what's out there, and I will get milk on the way home. moo![]()
