Morning all. Teeth cleaning at the dentist this morning so I gotta run darn it. But I guess I'm lucky to still have all my teeth. Hope y'all have a great day.

I know, don't worry. I don't sleep well anyway, but now since I want to be up by 6, I'll probably sleep right through.

Or you'll be like me and when you have a time in mind you want to be up you wake up every 15-30 minutes to look at the clock ALL NIGHT LONG.

when DD was here she decided my house was filthy. she swept and vacuumed. Wait, a long time ago she found a tick on her and freaked out, stripped and ran outside for some odd reason. Ok , so she finishes the vacuum and I have been about begging her to come sit down and talk with me. finally she does. I look and there is a humongous bug crawling on her shirt. she dont see it. yet.. First thought in my mind, the tick . I jumped up and screamed, Your gonna die as my hand is coming towards her. It was on her breast and I smacked hell out of it. I guess I scared her way more then the bug did.

YIKES!!!! Glad she did the cleaning for you, though.

Reminded me of the time when I was probably 10 (ish) - we had gone to the lake with another family (mom's best friend and her boys, cant think of many things we did/places we went growing up that they weren't with us) -- the boys and I had taken our little raft out to paddle around and explore some of the coves, etc. We had been getting in and out of the raft to swim and whatnot - and at one point I came up out of the water and into the raft only to see Gary (oldest of the boys) looking at me with this horrified look on his face......couldn't figure out what the problem was until I looked where he was looking, at my leg, and there was a leach on my leg. All of the sudden he says, "Don't move - I'll get it for you" -- and picks up the paddle and sets to beating my leg with it

Definitely one of those situations where the "cure" was way worse than the ill.......
