Papa read it all. I hope they are ok. Last I heard from him he pm asking for my address. That was a long time ago. I dont remember how long those races were for.

As you can see it has taken over the spot and I need to dig it up and divide it, and the other is a lilac grafted onto a tree trunk.

I knew it was the lilac.

I have one that is a mess in the front yard. Over 8 ft tall and just a huge clump of thin trunks spreading every year. Flowers are long gone this year.


I think Papa said it was a week of racing.

both "dwarf Korean" varieties. and the bush is about 12 years old been chewed down a couple time when much smaller by puppies and dogs. Evidently the sap right under the bark is sweet. . I have to hedge clipper the 2 sides or I could not use the walk way
