Well, I paid off my old car about 13 years ago so I guess I can join the rest of the world....I do think I'm going to go to sears outlet and peruse a new mattress.

Sears Outlet has mattresses on sale for 80% off. I'm just looking right now, but my mattress is about 15 years old and has a trough where I sleep!

sounds like smart shopping then. GO for it just keep in mind almost all warrenties on matresses are void unless you get a new boxspring at the same time.
These are floor models or discontinued models, I don't think they have a warranty.

But 600 to 700 for a 3 to 4 thousand dollar mattress, I can live with no warranty!

from a very old man in Jamestown not sure where he gets them. usually Englander brand but the last bunch the box springs were REALLY cheaply made. I think we have repaired all of them.
