I never had a pickled egg. I abbore boiled eggs. I can eat the yellow in deviled egg but not the white.
I ate some soup and DD is here .TTYL

Got distracted outside with little chicks. #2 helped me take pics. Trying to get some every Sunday to see how they change. They are pretty wild getting raised with a mama, but oh so much easier! Hubs and I are headed out to get some things to work on brother's jet ski. Be back later.

Morning. I didn't say yesterday because I needed to assess the damage for myself. DH didn't realize that the chicks were locked in the loft of the tractor. I lost 6 of 16: the 3 niederrhiners, 1 bielefelder, and 2 merlerault. So I've got 10 hardy mutt chicks left.

ohh I am so sorry they died because they were locked up ? 

I hate to hear that Camping.  I hope you can go get some more of them eggs and try again. Maybe a different design of grow out pen ?

I had closed the pop door to the loft because of the rain. It's not usually a big deal, he just didn't think about it. They were right beside the chicken coop. I meant to remind him, but yesterday was super busy. Funny thing, MIL looked at the chicks with DD yesterday morning and said "well how do they get water?" but she didn't ask DH. :/

MC and whites sitting in a tree????!!!  Is there something in raising chickens that brings people together that ya'll aren't telling me.

my list of learned things so far this morning:
Motorcycle and Lisa like to drive.
Camping and I don't.
Whites is THE MAN!
Granny has a clean kitchen and belly.
