Howdy y'all I'm back

I get to be the baby sitter! Sandwiches for lunch.

doing a bit of cleaning up in the house and coops. Still dripping rain here today.

The campers saw Ruby hop off her nest and were completely amazed that she laid 7 eggs at once!

So I used that teachable moment to explain the cycle of eggs and broodiness. They're coming back tonight after dark and I'll candle eggs for them.

What an awesome opportunity for them - hope the candling goes well.

Lauren has discovered minions I'm see them in my sleep we've watched it so many times lol

I became acquainted with my great nephew (gah just saying that makes me feel SO old) over the weekend and realized he speaks fluent minion, English not so much

He's forever unhappy... He's 15.

So very true -- being able to read something as it was meant to be read is a totally different experience.
