right now they are driving me nutz as I think there are still 2 cows to calve. Plan on selling breeding stock and keeping an occasional one for dinners LOTS of dinners. And grow the herd slightly
Shall I remind you that you still need to get tail hairs?
the fence get finished on Monday and the head gate attached, then regular gates on Friday and the yak drive over to that paddock to settle down a little before the rodeo the following week. NEW earings for the cows and calves, pours, hair collection.
We need pictures!

you just need to get granny to move she secret spy camera from my bedroom out to the farm.

Buster had been sitting longer than 4 weeks, took the chicks in the daytime with no fuss, and proceeded to keep sitting for 3 more days. She took them out to eat, but was mostly sitting for them. Guess it was her way of doing lock down!

supposed to taste like beef and healthier then chicken for you. Ground yak is $10.00 a pound plus shipping and that is if you can find it on line.
You aren't going to slaughter a yak for many years, Twist!

any cow that doesn't calve in the next 2 years is dinner. and it would be 3 or 4 for either of this years crop of calves. Eat the "rejects" and mean ones first.

Ouch! I just bashed myself in the ear and face and knocked my glasses off. Dang mosquito doing that buzzy-whine noise in my ear. Good news is my reflexes are lightening fast.

Bad news is my nose hurts from smashing my glasses into it and I will probably have bites all over my forehead in the morning.
