We just took back three sunflowers and two cherry trees for a refund at Costco. They had died.

I would wait for a cool down. or spring. Dont buy the ones in boxes. buy them in pots if you can . if not then the plastic bags like roses come.

Ok thanks. These were in a square bag wrapped in a plastic bag inside. It May have been my fault. I should've planted them when I got them. Seems like I waited a week or so after.

I tried to upload garden pics but no go pn byc. Yes , Red that is blossom end rot. Granny just crush eggshell in your hand & add to top of bucket. When u water it will leach calcium into the soil.

ok, thank you. I also have calcium for the chickens . would that be ok ? Probably be a while before I have any shells.
