I thought my coop and run predator proof. Surprise ! Its not. 3 dead in the run and one in the coop itself. Looked like there was NO wound. but no head either so I dont know how they pulled that off. Then one chick alive and stuck between the chicken wire and dog kennel. I set my trap and put it inside the run and locked them up in the coop.
The one lick tub has just a little left around the edge and the other is almost gone as well.
That's 500 lbs of licks in a month. for 6 adults
that is almost 3 lbs of licks per animal per day. To much

The @Sally Sunshine babes. Looks like three sapphire roos I guess. :/ Two have yellow legs, the one I thought was a pullet has white legs.

I didn't candle last night and now I have an external pip in a day 19 egg. 9 or so are internall pipped. Another 3 quit on me, so 11 total in lockdown.
I have no idea. Lol. I think he felt bad because I've lost most of my flock to a coon or a skunk, so he got online and ordered "assorted rare breeds."
It's going to be an adventure.
