I am friends with Enola but we never talk. Mare was entering Idaho ? Yesterday and sounded very happy and I have NOY heard from Papa or Shell or a whole bunch of others.

Those are coast redwoods (Sequoia sempervirens). Only place in the world they grow is coastal N. California and up into Oregon.

If you look up Humboldt Redwoods State Park or Avenue of the Giants, that's where I'm going.

They are awesome . I remember a tree in Fl. the branch would droop and touch the ground then root and start another tree until it was a big mass of tree. It was cool with all the nooks and crannys.
