It is a hobby. I just don't think hiking for 5 days is my idea of a vacation. But it is sad we are not together. Do you enjoy hiking in the high desert?

I think it's set up a lot like Yosemite.  Something for everyone.  There are little short walks just right for people like me.  I love walking if my foot cooperates.
