Well around the beginning of Oct my herd of Yaks will be increasing by 3.

Craig accepted my offer,

just working out the details. They were asking 3800 total for the 3 I offered 4,000 BUT they pay for all medical and the pg tests. Mertyl is not registered so her name is not "official" I could change it. Maybe to Maiah That would take care of my niece

and get me off the hook with her.

Maybe you can try to tame them some while they are in their own paddock. Is Maiah the one who broke her arm?

Good morning. I did it. Posted craigslist ads for my babies. big sigh. It is so hard sending them off into the unknown. I would be a hatching fool if it were easier to let them go.

Jane, hope all your hard work wasn't washed away. Sure would be lovely to have a bit of rain in the summer.

Camping, have fun at the zoo! Wonder if they have yaks there...

Mare, my surly teenager has a class on Saturday. 8am-1pm. It's a computer animation course, so kind of fun, but he is hating having to get up early on a Sat. Seems to forget he has no class on Friday.

Poor tortured soul!

Driving around garage saling on the way to the zoo. We passed a place that had a bounce house, handful of antique cars, a few craft booths, and sno-cone trucks. There were balloons on the gate and a sign that said "free stuff for kids."

we kept driving. There were two cop cars, so I guess it wasn't totally sketchy?

Oh, my, I hadn't even thought about going garage saling today ---- just might be enough to get me to get out of my comfy clothes and venture out today.......

I have a (n irrational) fear of being on or under an overpass and having an earthquake hit...yikes.
