I'm doing great! A little sick from all the people and dust though. I am so happy I found them! They were the breeds I wanted first, but I could not find any within two hours of where I lived.

Hmmmm, guess I was celebrating a little prematurely about having a day to myself tomorrow -- DS just came home and reminded me that it's Wednesday which is their early release day at the high school.......my "me time" just got cut by almost two hours

we have a shrub with that name but its not invasive here. I think it has very tiny white blooms . Not bought for the flower but screening.

That's it! I'm cutting mine back. Not sure how... I'm thinking about cutting it back to just the biggest branches. I've already cut everything lower than my knees. The branches were dragging the ground.
 
What kind of trees do you have there ? I bet magnolia are pretty there. We can grow the small shrub type like janes magnolia.

with those you can trim them however you want them to look. They are hardy . I havent trimmed mine yet . Its getting good sized and hiding what I bought it for.
