nope is was a "closed herd" and Porter got a clean bill of health so the girls all got a pass on having to be pg.

Janet has had 5 calves in a row. and Sbr 19 has had 2 years off. Merytl is a virgin

Sounds risky. At least for 2 of them. Any of them been pastured with a bull lately?

they were all put in with his bull about or 3 weeks ago. pg blood test 3 weeks after possible conception and the "arm method" around 40 days at the soonest. He hasn't seen his bull paying any attention to the 3 I am interested , bull has been to busy with a couple others.

evidently Yaks are very private animals as he has never seen a "hook-up" either. Just the "dating" stage where the cow and bull distance themselves from the herd.
