Maybe when you go pick up your new girls, you can ask to see how Craig has his gate set up of bulls. There has to be a way to do it. Can't tranq them everytime you need to deal with them. You need to get those babies tamed down so it is a lit easier. Dairy cows are way bigger than beef cows, but can be with easily. I think yaks have been bred to be tame and calm and trainable. They've been domesticated for 1000s of years. It's in the genes.

yep and Porter is honestly a very nice boy BUT there are those horns with over a 30 inch spread. The calves are all being pulled toward the end of Oct and move over to where the whole herd wintered last year. Halter and taming with treats and what not while they are small and not so dangerous. Also get a better price at sales time.

Porter was actually trained to be a pack animal but that was when he was 2.

huge difference between the pet trade rats I am familiar with which are black and white. still nasty IMHO but wild rats need to NOT invade my space.

she said she felt bad because she used to have a pet/pets. I have only seen one 4 legged rat in my life and it was dying in the streets of Detroit.

this was his previous bull who was afraid of people also Maiah/Myrtle's father. and old SBR 19 is her mother.
