If the Crimson Tide and The Auburn Tigers weren't enough, now ANOTHER reason to LOVE MY STATE!! You can't throw a cat without hitting an illegal. You can't get around in WalMart on Friday without running into a gaggle of them. And yes, tell Suzie in school that her parents broke the law, and have to go back to their home, and she has to go also, that because of them, she is not a legal resident, either. Sorry if it hurts her feelings, but when she starts paying taxes and has a better plan, she can let us know. And this is my Plan B. My plan A will get the mods on me!

And just how do you KNOW these people are illegal???? Is it just because they look Mexican??? I have a couple of adopted children who are Mexican and I can assure you that if someone ever spits on them and tells them to go back where they came from they're going to have an Amazon Irish woman smack 'em upside the head.

If I and my family lived in that cess pool of a country they call Mexico, I would do everything in my power to try and move to the US.

What is not known to many people who say they are taking "our" jobs, they dont realize that there are 100's of employers here in the US who recruit workers in Mexico to come up here and work illegally because they can pay them less. I live in a large subdivision in suburban Austin, I watched alot of the demographics of the workers who helped build all of the houses. ALL of them were hispanic and I would probably bet that a great majority of them are not legal. The subcontractors recruit them and work for them...that way DR Horton and any other large corporation are free of guilt and can blame it on the subcontractors if they do get caught. Its all about the bottom line of people and corporations making money off the backs of illegals. Its been going on for decades and will continue to sadly.....
Theoretically if we did send them all back to Mexico it would ruin our economy because they are a key element in the work force in many places around the country......just my two cents anyway. I have taught and gotten to know many illegals and their children in the past two decades, their work ethic and mentality in many ways emulates the american dream alot more than some who were born here...

Well... I have many hispanic and a russain, all are leagal, that help me on our farm. All are the great gardeners and have taught me so much. They do have family that come to the US with a visa to visit and sometimes will come and help them. Several have become personal friends and we still keep in touch through the grapevine. One young man who would come just to sit and talk to learn english. The week before he left he brought tons of pansies and and planted them everywhere. He has now become the mayor, or the equivilent, of his village. He just sent us a sombro that is pretty neat. They are tight extended family, I do admire them. They also have a hudge problem with illegals. They don't like them and want them deported. They or their parents spent alot of time and money to be legal and really get offended when they have to live down the stigma of the illegals. But alot of the legals still have a langauge problem because they are so close to their hispanic community that is all they speak, and they loose their english. AS for the russian, her accent is so big, WOW, even she laughs trying to say some words. But she also does not like illegals. Her father started getting her american citisinship when she was very young and she had to study american citisinship courses for years. As she says, "Inside out and upside down." These are very interesting people, and are good citisins of the USA. ALL of them are better spellers than I!

Yeah not too hard to do in a country that hasn't got much opportunity for anything and people risk their lives to leave it.

They should be sent back. Who cares if they have never even seen Mexico much less learned the language. Who cares if they are straight A students and could actually help to improve our country? Gee whiz people. Get some humanity.

Immigrants that are already here need to be integrated into our society. They need to discourage illegal immigration by eliminating the job opportunities. Fine the employers and put them in jail. Building a wall is a ridiculous idea. We're not talking about 100 miles. I believe it's around 1100 miles. We don't want to spend billions on health care but we want to spend billions on a wall to keep people out. Don't build that wall too high. You may want to be climbing it to go south in about 30 years.

In 30 years our countries will be merged at this rate......

That term I hear used is called "anchor baby" yes the child is hear legally and the child is an american citizen but the parents aren't so when they go back child goes back. But the child is still a citizen, so if they have family child can come back over and stay with family. I have seen talk about passing a bill about parents having to be legal for child to be legal.

E.G. Wife and I cross border illegally, wife gives birth 4 hours in to the country that child is now a citizen, but if the talk of a bill ever gets more than talk they would say sorry," child is not citizen cause you guys are not legal".

ETA: About last sentence in quote, I personally do not have an answer for that, but if I was in that place I would blame my parents and then threaten to run away and somehow get back into the US.

No they're not called anchor babies. They're called US citizens.

So you think that American citizens should be sent to Mexico with their parents. Then get a coyote or something to bring them back to the US? Makes sense to me.

well some people are calling to repeal the law that states the children of illegals who are born here legally must be sent away too.

how far back are they going to go. A huge portion of us residents have illegal immigrants in their ancestry.

so if a child born here who is the child of a parent who was born her by illegal immigrants. or great grand parents? or what if only one of the parents is illegal?

Then you have to deport all of them. It's only right. Definitely not left. We'll just deport the whole country and let the Native Americans have it back. They took a lot better care of it.

I had a friend in high school. His parents were getting divorced. His dad had decided to get a younger model, so to speak, after being married 20 years. She was here legally, while she was married to a US citizen, but soon as the divorce happened, his father started calling INS to deport her. She had kids still in school, that were us citizens, but because her husband wanted a younger girl, he decided to try and get her sent out of country. As far as i know, there's no plans to provide for the needs of us citizens in these cases. She was here legally, her children are all us citizens, but she had no status once her husband left her.
