This is a winter project of mine that we had talked about earlier in this thread. I'm trying to make a house plant look like one of those jungle trees that I see pictures of that has roots growing right over the surface of rocks and down into the soil.
I don't know what kind of plant. It's a cutting from one of my famous "borrowed" cuttings.
It's lifting off the rock and leaning left now in this pic. The roots are doing what I wanted though.

I'm also the guy asking about the compost tumbler/barrel thing. Just looking for some tips and advice. Never had one before but I've heard they're good and they're FAST.

Same here, now. At first, I putz'd with it. But really, it'll all rot if you give it enough time. The "fast" compost generally isn't all that fast and just takes way too long and too much work. It's not worth it. Pile it somewhere and forget it a while. Like a few months to a year or more. Helps when you have enough space to do that. If not, I guess you're stuck with the "fast" ways.

You might like to look for reviews. Unfortunately I've never found anything as easy as advertised. Everything takes time and work. Compost has to have the right "recipe" of green, brown and wet/dry to cook. The temp is best reached to kill all the bad things such as salmonella and such. Like I said do some research on how to use tumblers. Keep us posted if you get one.

Yjere are a Couple i can think of that would do well they are both land and water plants meaning you can submers them in a pond or tank . or grow them in a pot or out side as a land scape .

One is the Mangrove tree. they come in 2 colors the other is Anubias broad leaf http://www.aquabid.com/cgi-bin/auction/auction.cgi?liveplantsr&1356415715 Here you can see a photo of it there is another one but i can not remember the name . Plants that do well in fully submerged Tank or grown in a pot would be your best bet. But that is my opinion Best of luck
