We don't have flying squirrels 'round here, but we do have FRYING squirrels! My neighbors feed them, so they're quite plump and glossy. It's a shame I live too close to town to go after them (the squirrels, not the neighbors!)

that’s why we keep a .25 ca pellet rifle at the house for those nice fat “city” squirrels!! in the woods on the other hand, it’s a 12 gauge!! it’s about time for a squirrel dinner as we have half a dozen or so still in the freezer with season starting in 6 or so weeks!!
