I'm looking to add some color to my flock but I don't need 15 of em.
I've been searching for guinea hatcherys for the last week and can't find any that don't require at least 15keet minimum - is there any out there?!

I can’t even get to an error page. They are closed today so they might be updating the website. Another thing is if you don’t get A quarter of a box of chicks which is 25 they might put in males for warmth

You pay a premium for those minimum shipments.... There are a couple of solutions...
Talk your local feed store into bringing in a shipment of keets.
Split an order with some one.
Sell the extras.
Buy chicks and add in a few Keets Ideal isnt the only one.
My Pet Chicken also does minimum orders...

For what its worth I feel a minimum of five to ten keets... They are flock birds. They are not chickens so they need to have a flock to hang with. A single or even a couple may go wandering off to see if they can find others.

My preception of raising Keets with chickens has been readjusted... They should retain their Guinea fowl Identity.... The reason is When they reach adult hood they go through mating displays there is alot of feather pulling and chasing with that. Chickens do not participate.... and can get bullied...

Also they Fly really well I used to get fussed at from the roof of my house because I wore a pink bathrobe outside....:gig

Another good option is to try to buy them locally. Check on Craig's List or at a neighborhood feed store. I'm already getting requests for any keets that will hatch this summer. I'm not a a hatchery but guinea hens are very productive! I only sell locally and they must be picked up here at the ranch.
You may not be able to get keets this early since the hens don't start laying eggs until April or so. ;)

I already have 7 in my flock of guineas, i also have 11 chickens and they're all in the same huge coop, i've had them for 2 years and have never had any issues, the chickens stay to themselves, and the guineas stay to themselves as well. I grew up raising guineas so i'm quite familiar with their "crazy" ways lol.

since I already have quite a few i don't need to add another 20 to my flock as thats too much for my coop and my farm. I've asked around for splitting and no one i know so far wants too, the local feed store also will only do a minimum. I've thought about selling them but if i don't sell them I'm stuck with them lol

yes i have 4 mated pairs of my own - pearls, whites, and pieds.
i realize guineas don't lay til april but there are some hatcherys that allow you to place preorders for May ;)

not sure if you are on fb or not but check the guinea fowl enthusiasts group, there are a lot of people in the group & maybe someone is from your area. Also try flint river guineas they sell & ship :)
