Guinea talk.

Pics
All of mine were adults when they got here. Our first was a stray that just wandered up on the property one day. Then my wife bought 2 more to keep that one company. I doubt they will ever warm up to me enough to be petted. Since all 3 are females I won't ever have keets to raise by hand. I'm satisfied watching them be crazy, I don't really need them to love on me. We have over 30 birds and about half want up in my chair or in my lap already.
The pics and videos pattyhen posts amaze me. You always hear about how wild they are, but hers are so loving.

Spiderman and mary jane come in today and were setting in their chair.the pizza delivery man knocked on the door and that set off the guineas. They went into their machine gun voices. He handed the pizza in the door and hurried out to his car. I wonder what he thought of us.

I can't wait for my purple guineas! I've been reading through the posts and as long I don't screw anything up I think they'll fit in great in our yard!

That is such an awesome story....so funny! I would have loved to have seen that! I always look forward to hearing about the adventures of Spider-Man and Mary Jane!

Hi! Is it okay for my baby guineas to be in same brooder as ducklings? It would be 3-4 guineas and like 15 ducks. The guineas will likely be a week older if all goes to plan

I only have guineas, so I can't weigh in on this one. Patty has ducks with her guineas, but I'm not sure if they were together in a brooder. You could always give it a try and if it doesn't work, have a plan B with the guineas. I had mine in a big dog crate, and kept adding more crates as the guineas got bigger, for a brooder. Not ideal, but it was all I had at the time.
