So I have four guineas about 12 weeks old and they have been bald which I thought was normal, but now I see that they have bumps on all of their heads. Is this normal or something I can treat? First time guinea owner so any help would be appreciated

This is normal...it is their "helmet"! Look at a pic of an adult you will see the red helmet. This is what i call the ugly stage...lots of weirdness

What kind of guineas do you have?
I am in South Africa where guineas are common wild fowl and they do have a bump as you say on top of the head, but it depends what kind they are.
If it is the genuine African guinea fowl, then a bump is normal.
Not sure about the other kinds. Martine

Thank you both so much! I was truly worried they had contracted a disease somehow. Also I believe they are African guineas. I'll put a picture up today, but yesterday it was too dark by the time I made it inside

I'm guessing you have helmeted guineas; they're the most common in the US. In that case, yep! The bump is perfectly normal, all of them have it, some more extreme than others. Have fun with those guys!
