No development at all. My eggs are 100% fertile too

Well since school has been cancelled this household is doing egg experiments...

We are trying a half shell egg and we will find other experiments as well throughout the next few weeks.

Ouch...not at all! I saw it as more of a learning opportunity. She was trying to more clearly show her kids the miracle of life, albeit in a cup instead of the egg. The end goal was still a fluffy little life...you know, instead of eating it for breakfast. lol

I'm reasonably confident that the person in the video from China was carefully dropping in broad spectrum antibiotics to prevent bacterial infection of the growing embryo. Not sure they actually got to the "hatch" stage as the video kind of jumps to the little parrot...

Interesting experiment though.

Yeah powdered calcium I have some on hand, but the bacteria stops the chick from developing
