I don't totally remember my plans, but would I take a Dixie cup, put some holes in the bottom and sides for some ventilation, put the egg shell and then the fertile egg inside, and then cover the top with saran wrap, securing it with a rubber band and putting some holes in the wrap on top? Thanks :)

Oh, how are you planning on turning the eggs? I don't think I can tip my incubator :hmm

I saw all those videos a few years ago, I was intrigued but didn't try it myself, put it on my bucket list. The only thing I can see that would be a problem in a non laboratory condition, would be how to keep bacteria from getting into the contraption!

No idea 🤔 I'm just messing around because everything has been cancelled. I have 11 other eggs incubating that are due to hatch in 8 days. We have so many eggs that I don't know what to do with them all.

What about using something like a coffee filter over the top of the a cup with saran wrap in the bottom to hold the egg up off the bottom of the cup.
I'll try other ideas I'm not sure yet if the one in the cup will do anything. I'm just waiting.
