If the manufacturer responds and I can come up with a solution to fix my 4th incubator in time to participate, I will!

I got a response right after posting here actually, lol. I think it's the fan...but I broke it...it was me.

Aw, I read your thread. Candle the ones in your other three incubators and look for quitters or infertile ones. You just need one space! Lol

They're actually quite small hatches compared to what I usually have going but I wouldn't be able to put a cup in the incubator while the automatic turner is running. Unless It would be better for me to NOT have a fan running in the incubator anyway? I mean...my broken incubator still seems to heat up. We'll see what I can work out.

Ok! Let us know! How does the turner work in the NR? I've been looking into getting one sometime soon.

It's a horizontal turner that rotates all the way around the incubator. Prevents hot and cold spots or the need to rotate eggs because they never stay in one place in the incubator, which is great! I've loved all of my NR360s and so far they've been very reliable. I ran them nearly non stop last year and again for the last few months...just don't throw them at a hardwood floor.

Update!
So, last night I used the food coloring method on the two girls so I can tell which egg is who's. Anyway, I have my first subject! Blrw egg. (#1) Now I have to figure out how to set this all up. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to open up the egg? I was thinking maybe opening up the air cell and pouring it out? I feel like cracking it might be bad. Also, how do I make sure the blastoderm is on top? Sometimes when I crack eggs it's on the bottom. Anyhow, here's the egg. I like that there's just a few little streaks. Its my first time trying this method and it seems to have worked great.

Yes, you can turn it off multiple ways. There is a separate connector cord in the back that you can just disconnect, you can take the tray out, or just don't reset the number of days to hatch. If there are 3 days or less left on the readout the turner will automatically shut off for lockdown. You still want to remove the turning tray for lockdown but it's made so that you don't need to move the eggs. You literally lift up on the tray and the eggs are already in place for lockdown. I started using the no-skid shelf liner because I feel like it's nicer for the babies so I do take them out and put them back personally.
