Half Shell Hatch-A-Long! (Caution, unsuccessful, please read whole thread before attempting)

That makes sense, I can tip my janoel because the bottom is solid. Lol. When I made mine I cut the sides down so it’s just the cups, and I popped a hole in the bottom. I don’t think it matters so much as long as you’re using the cardboard type cartons; they breathe a bit anyways.
You’ve probably seen the way some people turn them with 2 carton trays and extra or fake eggs underneath? Something like that might work for you too... it’ll depend on how much space you have in there I guess.
Lol. All speculation, I haven’t done this before either. xD
I have a MagicFly (Janoel) too. Here's a picture of my incubator. There's some room. It's not too tall though.

Here's it next to the janoel.

These little things never fail to amaze me. Yesterday nothing was visible, and today, voila! I have an egg carton too. I'm just going to use half of the carton it think. Only use 2 slots and the other slots can stabilize it. @SnapdragonQ since you have an NR, and you've hatched upright, how do I go about this? Do I need to do a lot of air holes in the carton? How much do I need to tip them? There's enough room for a carton, right?

You have a tiny bit more room than my model, but still, I could not fit a carton with either end propped up at all. Instead I tried a few things...I cut down a carton to a few cups (with parts of the bottom removed for ventilation) but those were wobbly, and I cut little cardboard "holders" to attach to the tuner so the egg was not sitting in one spot because we know all incubators have warmer/cooler spots.

The flat cardboard holder is what I went with, think those little cardboard trays flats you put the dyed eggs in from those cheap Easter egg coloring kits. I had one shipped egg that needed to be upright, however because the turner still had to turn and function normally for the rest of the eggs, I counter balanced with one of my flock eggs on the opposite side of the turner.

The special egg ended up being infertile, but my flock egg developed and hatched fine. I started with the eggs at a slight angle and just twisted the eggs 5 to 7 times a day initially, then started tipping my flock egg at like day 7 I think. I'll check my notes....
I'll also go see if I still have the pics...brb...

Forgot, I posted the pics here on page 72 of the NR360 thread-

Hopefully this helps. In the second pic you can see the other upright egg in the background- opposite the blue egg up front. The turner worked just fine as long as there was a counter balance egg.

And the pics of the "tubes" were ideas I considered in case I was not going to use the turner at all. The little toilet paper tubes helped hold the egg more securely than a cut down cup (or 2) from a carton and allowed better twisting and tipping because of the size of my flock's eggs which are very large to almost XL.

Awesome, thank you so much!!! So should I use the TP tubes then? These eggs are pretty big.

I think I know what you're talking about. I'll see what I can come up with.
