I do too! They're so gorgeous. Yeah I think the Japanese have done it. I have my eggs covered with saran wrap to try and keep out bacteria, but my first egg died because bacteria got in. It never even got veins. My sister has one that she started from the beginning, and it's still alive! I think it's on day 6 right now. It's doing really well. I opened up a new egg yesterday, I incubated it for exactly one week first and then opened it, so I won't have to go through the trouble of tipping it. I'll see if turning for just the first week is sufficient. I'm already attached to this little baby, I want her to make it. It would be so cool. I really hope it's a girl, I can't keep any more boys.I think BLRW are the most beautiful breed.
I do think I have read of either the Japanese, or Chinese hatching chicks in a similar fashion.
Is this method risky because bacteria could easily enter the open egg?
Both the Chinese, & Japanese did a no shell hatching.I think BLRW are the most beautiful breed.
