Could be. It’s an assorted mix from a local farm. They had several breeds. They do like I do and cross their purebreds. Lots are this butterscotch type color.

Showing is not hard ... breeding for what the judges like is, but actual prep and showing is pretty fun, at least in my book!

Do you have to leave your chickens with them? Or are you with them at all times?

In Maryland, you don't have to leave them all week. Some people do, but they;re the people competing for Herdsman, or the equivalent. Any birds going to auction have to stay, as well, so most of the meaties stay.
Most 4Hers bring their birds for the day and take them home that night. Cecil County does the Poultry Show on the first Saturday of the Fair, before most of the livestock comes in, so it's not super busy. except for the year we showed in what amounted to a freezing monsoon, it's been a lot of fun. Chicken People are interesting!

EDIT to add ... we NEVER leave our birds! Even at State Fair!
