Kinda spooky looking...

Here is an example of a fertile quiter recently. I believe contamination.
I try to candle once and late into bation. I rarely get to see the early stages of developement. As well as the majority of my set eggs are brown, giving me limited visual inspection.
It is rare at this point when I late candle to have any quiters within the eggs chosen to remain. I discard of underdeveloped mass and choose to keep the most viable formations, mass wise.
There is a chance I've thrown out live eggs, but I don't crack them open to confirm.
That contamination suspect egg is really bizarre! Kinda cool too! I always crack mine to confirm. I want to make sure I'm right and learn from that. I also do it on clears to learn if they were fertile or not by looking at the germinal disk. I do not do eggtopsies for late quitters though...they stink!! :sick

Had 4 out of seven hatch last week Saturday the 14. Didn’t know about the hatch along. They are so cute. Thinking they are all hens.
