look... that's a baby chick!!!
day 4 in the bator... set 10/08/08 at about 2 pm

the star on this i put last night when i looked and thought this one might be good... what a HUGE difference day makes....
this one has such a specific spider look to it's veining i'm going to watch for it and name this one Spooky... lol.....
i'm ssoo excited right now.....

i went ahead and checked the whole lot... it looks like i have 7 out of 14 with definate starts.. another that is wierd.. looks like an umbilical with nothing else?? i think it's nothing... 1 that looks like a blood ring with no other veining... and 5 that look blank....
not too shabby for her first bunch... and his for that matter...

ETA: Back on task here, on the topic....
I had a power outage today. Almost 4 hours of no electricity. I covered my bators with heavy blankets. When it came back on, I decided not to pull them off immediately. So, I waited nearly an hour for it to heat up. When I looked the temp was 98.8, so I don't know how low it got. All is well currently, and I am hoping it will continue.

Now, the Halloween name game .... we are on the letter, "N." Hhhmmm, I am blank.​
