I am hatching LF on Halloween. I have RIR, Barred Rocks, Turkens and EEs all tucked in yesterday. I will be candling in a week to see whats fertile and whats a dud.

Next month will be a Thankgiving Bantam hatch for us.

I made an incubator out of a styrofoam ice chest the pet store receive their fish in. Picked it up years ago. I've used for many things but this is the best yet

I put in like 15 Button Quail, 2 Seramas, 2 Cochins, 1 Blue Jersey Giant, and a Red sexlink/Splash Jersey Giant mix hatching on the 30th. The button quail should hatch on 25th. =]

I figured just as long as i keep track of when exactly the egg went in..once the other 23 are done hatching...then i should be ok. So i should be hatching on the 30th 31st and 1st. I'm basically all over the Halloween season with hatching eggs lol.

Yeah, I'm dying to candle too. LOL I've got 19 Serama eggs in mah 'bator, one batch of seven set on Friday and twelve set on Saturday.
