okay, so after walking th e6 yr old to school, i come home to 2 of them flopping around the bator....
they're shoving the other eggs all over the place... should i leave them? or shoudl i get them out so the others can hatch in peace?? hopefully hatch... two still just pipped, and 2 with nothing yet.... but it's only been a few hours... lol... i think these two take after their mother who is my problem child....

Anyone have pictures yet?

Mine are on day 19 and I've got nothing yet, should I start to worry?
Never mind, I've already been worrying.

But at least my chores are finally getting done. I'm doing anything to keep myself busy: laundry, vaccuuming, cleaning out neglected closets and drawers, dishes, organizing cabinets, cooking....

Anyway, you guys are great for sharing your "journey" online, otherwise I wouldn't have anyone who understands what I'm going through.

Your Welcome! I have two of them. Had another but I think something got her, and they were all hens, I'm not sure what a roo will look like.

So was the BO the roo and pullet was the mamma? That's my situation, I guess it would look the same...If I get a roo, I'll show you, I bet they are so cool looking....

lol i am right where you are. But i only have one flopping around. I was told to leave them in until they are at least 80% dry. They can stay in there for up to 48 hours...some can even go to day 3. I leave them in because i think the peeping from the hatched chick is a rally cry to tell the others it's time to hatch. Once the other eggs hear the peeping chick, usually for me pips tend to follow.

oh and no offense Luvmybob: but people are hatching chicks in this thread and some people are having a tough time....just my two cent's but if we could keep the post count down to post's about us hatching our babies and hatching our babies only...then the frantic people here who are having problems won't have to go over page after page trying to find someone who has answered their dire questions. Not trying to be mean or anything, it's just this thread has added 5 pages to it in the last hour
