HALLOWEEN HATCH!!! Anyone

Hey guys - I heard teensy weensy peeping just now..! The only reason I heard it is because I had the lid open, quickly topping up the water. I know it's a cardinal lockdown rule not to open, but the humidity just kept going down depsite added water to the sponges via the vent holes and I know there's a great risk of drying out for the cracked ones.

It's hard, but I'm trying not to get too excited... .but, there is still life in my incy!!!

*hug* That is wonderful news! And, I will open the incubator and top up if the humidity is too low. It's one of those things where its the less of the two evils.

I found this as I was emptying my camera. It's from the previous few hatches, but I thought you might appreciate it:

!!!!!!!!!!!!!go chickies go!!!!!!!!!!!!

cheering for everyone....

i know what the top secret birds are.. they're bella's babies... rofl...

i know have all my eggs pipped at least... they must have gotten my note and decided they didn't want to wait till friday so they came today instead.. lol...
but it's a relief that they've all at least pipped now... i'm hoping they all make it even though i don't know what i'm going to do with them.. lol....

so crazy that it seems so many early hatchers??

Maybe they were afraid if they waited until Halloween, they'd get stuck with names like Gremlin and Ooze. LOL

Thank you all so very much for all the hugs and support - (((((HUGS FOR ALL))))) I did have a big ol' crying jag over it earlier, but I went out and spent time with my flock and felt a lot better. Then I came in and got peeping to give me hope once again. Now, I gotta SIT on my hands and be good - no helping unless absolutely necessary!!!

I'm at work, but my "eyes at home," told me that I have 2 zipped and nearly out, several more pips, lots of chirping and rolling. One is a Jersey Giant, and one 2nd generation Olive Egger! I am going home in an hour or two on my lunch break! And this is only day 20. We have another 24 hours+ of this stress!
