help.

I have new duck eggs. I set them just a few minutes ago. Is there some number I can call about these things, where they will kindly take my incubator away for the season?

3 of them popped out in the last hour... one of them i swear in like five mins while i was hunting for the 4 yr olds shoes... lol.... one had broke out just before i started looking.. then a thrid was out by the time i got back from the school.. 1 more left...

damn.... i wish i could say i knew what i was doing... and remember, these were my first hatch, and her first eggs.... WOW.... and they seem really healthy right now....

if this last one makes it out, then i'm 6/6 out of 14 originals.. i oopsed one around day 5.. i'm chalking that up to whatever neurological condition i have... i was putting it back in the bator and my hand gave up before my brain wanted it too.... don't handle fertile eggs on a bad day.... the rest, were out by day seven as blanks and one blood ring... i don't really count those since they weren't viable.... i think we did pretty good....

now what am i going to do with these little guys... lol...

evonne & sue - No rocking, no pips yets. Talk about up & down... my first ever hatch was also Seramas. I did good, got five to pip, but the first one that pipped did so midshell and died by the time I opened an bigger airhole for him. Well, that freaked me out totally, and everything I'd drilled into my head about NOT helping kinda went out the window and I interfered when I shouldn't have. I did manage to get one chick out of that, but it was overall so traumatic it took me a year to feel like trying it again. Then the cats decided to 'help'. Sheesh, this must be karmic retribution for the first batch...
