Congrats on chickies! They do take a while to fluff up completely. Just make sure they're under a light and nice and warm while they're drying off!

Hey, ya'll. Okay, after work I had to take the girls to gymnastics, so I'm just now getting home good. Ready for the update....5 chickies so far. 2 more pipped.

Urbanmom - don't worry about the pip. My first one that pipped yesterday has still not hatched. I can see it and it is breathing, I just think it is still absorbing. Looks pretty wet down in that shell. I'm not worrying about it unless it starts acting distressed.

I have 2 pretty niced sized pips now. The one you can see his little beek & him moving in there! Other than that, nothing! The humidity is staying between 60 & 65. Temp is good.

Oh boy! Chickies! Yay for chickies! Congrats you guys! I will have one soon....I hope!

Thanks ladies that makes me feel better . . .they are all peeping like mad and stumbling around like little drunken sailors . . .I don't know how I'll ever sleep tonight with all the noise they are making . . .I have the incubator in my room.

we moved mama and the babies in the house in the dog crate!

The temp wasn't getting above 71 out there. It's 82 now and midnight seems much more relaxed in here. She ate a lot of scrambled eggs once we got her in here and she warmed up.
