I have been REALLY bad about candling! I knew when I started that many of my eggs wouldn't make it, simply because I wasn't planning to hatch so I hadn't been diligent about turning them before setting them. After two candlings, I'd pulled so many clears and duds that I was totally disheartened ... so I stopped. Tomorrow is supposed to be D-Day (H-Day?) and I have absolutely NO idea how many (or even if any) will hatch. Right now, I think I'd be happy with just one. I'd be thrilled with more, but I'll even count it a success with just one ... just one ... just one ... just one ... please. world?

I wanted three or four. Candling, I was sure of only two. Five was unexpected, and only at this moment do I feel bad for number six. Not upset, but like I walked out of the theater, and missed those cute clips they play.
