Halloween/Thanksgiving Hatch-a-Long 2019

Thanks! I will definitely join one... Someday. I am especially interested in an Easter hatch-a-long.

The Easter one is probably the biggest one of the year, that or the New Year’s one, so that is an excellent one to join!! Lots of people usually participate so it’s a lot of fun and you can also get good advice if you need it.

You can here too of course but there’s usually a lot of participation in that one and a lot of fun contests you can join too.

There will likely be a post about it in the spring so keep an eye out for it.

have a few spots open in one incubator..I guess I could go out and steal some of our chickens eggs, mark them and put them in there. Then I would have to hatch a ton of eggs in the other incubator lol. Assuming that the ones incubating now, actually ALL make to lockdown lol! They are shipped eggs so they will probabaly not all make it...hmmm this is a gamble but it might work.
October 10th is when the chicken eggs need to be set right?

yes chicken eggs should be set by Oct 10th quail eggs around oct 13th......

Thank you! I just ran out there and fluffed up their nest boxes Maybe they will get the hint. They will be Easter Eggers from that pen..Easter Eggers for Halloween. At least they will be colorful.

Well I have some chicks due to hatch on the 19th and I will be setting some more in a few days time
