Well i can use the impact drill, but i havent ever used the saw
Im intimidated by the saw, my uncle lost like 3 fingers in two diff episodes.

Also i cant afford nice lumber so using scrap wood takes experience and with building and i just dont have it. Im aware the home depot guys will cut exactly what i want to size but really 60$ in lumber is out of reach. Everything goes to the kids. Ive spent alot making the halloween costumes And Christmas is coming. Ive got like 10 gifts but buying for 4 children is insane.

i hate to burst your bubble but kiddos only get more expensive as they get older as do birds it seems!!!

That’s true.... teenagers eat A LOT. Heck, I eat a lot.

Though of course now I pay for my own food but still lol

When my brothers were in high school and invited their football friends over!? Oh boy.... watch out!!! My older brother had one friend in particular who practically cleaned us out every time he came over!!!

Only the one lil silver girl and i have set some of her eggs my last two hatches. right now i have 3 growing out from those sets and i have decided i want to have at least one more breeding pen i need to find fresh blood to keep them from inbreeding. I have lights on her for some 16 hrs per day so and if she starts i Will set those too

I might end up w two full incubators(80 to 100 eggs) if i collect everything thru the tenth and the 15th. If the button hen starts laying again. The Hona hen is laying and the cuckoos make sex links. The wyandottes are still giving me a couple of eggs but starting to molt

But ah yes that is definitely very true too!! Thankfully I was never very into fashion or shopping or anything so I don’t buy many clothes. Just band merch which includes a lot of tee shirts lol I’ll gladly wear t shirts and gym/workout/running shorts every day, maybe in cute colors lol, maybe jeans or cute sweats/joggers when it’s colder, maybe add a hoodie, I’m not fancy lol

I don’t even really have many shoes.

I think boys are definitely easier in this regard.... they’ll just wear the same basketball shorts and a t shirt for a week straight if you let em.

They don’t need fancy new pants or makeup or shoes or a new purse lol

There are usually several hatch-a-longs per year and one for practically every holiday so if you can’t join in this one, maybe you can join one of the other ones!!! Maybe you will have a broody or an incubator by then!!

I am not sure if there is usually a Thanksgiving hatch-a-long???? But I think there is usually a Christmas and/or a New Year’s one as well as Easter and sometimes there Valentine’s Day ones so there will be plenty more.

There’s usually a Fourth of July one too I think.

not to “enable” but when I joined for last halloween HAL I started with janoelle 12 (approximately 50-75 on amazon) and eggs from meyer hatchery (of course now i would choose quail eggs from @Myshire Farm Quail) as i have hatched all 22 colors!!!
